Parish Nurses

The parish nurse program of St. Monica Parish is a volunteer program. Sandy Kastl and Irma Robbins were trained through the Parish Nurse Program at St. Francis Medical Center.  Parish nursing is a concept for bringing the care of people back into the church community. Its goal is to promote healthy living, good spiritual resources, and to include the church community in fulfilling other needs that families may have. The nurses provide monthly blood pressure screening, yearly flu and pneumonia clinic and anointing service. The parish nurses coordinate the nurses in the parish to serve the needs of the St. Monica Community.
